FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR BOTH AUDITION DAYS?
No, you do not have to sign-up twice to audition. If you sign-up and join us for auditions with Vision then we will make sure you are signed up for the second date. If you cannot make that first date, please sign-up separately for the second date so we are prepared to host you.
WHAT MUSIC DO I PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS?
If you join us for the first audition date with Vision, please prepare the music that is provided on their website (link above). That way we are all playing together. Don't be discouraged if you can't play it perfectly or as fast, we will make sure everyone has a chance to show the best version of their skills. For the second audition we will use our own warm-ups that can be found at the above links.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE THE FIRST AUDITION?
No problem! We invite you to join us at our second audition date. We ask you please sign up for that at the link above so we know to expect you.
DO I HAVE TO AUDITION FOR BOTH VISION AND LINEA ON THE FIRST DATE?
Not exactly. You are free to accept whichever callback you are offered. There is no obligation or restriction to join a certain group. Both teams will be working together throughout the audition to evaluate you as a player and discuss your goals for the upcoming season. We understand that skill, time, location, and cost factor in to which group you are able to perform with and we will be flexible and supportive of whatever works for you!
IS THERE A SEPARATE COST TO AUDITION FOR LINEA?
Nope! The only fee is for the joint audition with Vision (see link above). All other audition activities do NOT require a separate fee.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO MARCH AS SEASON WITH LINEA?
This year our fee will be $500. We try to keep our fee low and all-inclusive. This way even those who may not be able to afford a group with a more robust travel schedule can still perform at a high level and grow their skills.
We at LINEA are hopeful for a full and rewarding season for our members. We are also committed to our goal of operating safely and minimizing any risk to our participants. Our team intends to take all necessary precautions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic to fulfill this promise.
