Hannah Hafalia is a flutist and piccoloist from Glendale, Arizona. Music became a regular part of Hannah’s life when she began playing flute in 4th grade. Since then what was once a hobby evolved into a passion that she is dedicating her life to.
Like many young musicians, Hannah was introduced to the marching arts when she entered high school. It was an activity that she quickly fell in love with. During her junior year she started playing piccolo in both marching and concert settings. One year later she became the flute section leader. After graduating from Mountain Ridge High School in 2017, Hannah continued her education at NAU. She performed in the Lumberjack Marching Band as well as the NAU Wind Symphony.
Hannah is well aware of the unique opportunities presented to those who partake in the marching arts. She had the privilege of playing her flute at Super Bowl 49, the Pro Bowl, and the NFL Experience. In 2016 Hannah traveled to Hawaii to march in the Waikiki Holiday Parade and participate in the events commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Hannah currently studies Music Education at GCC. In her free time she enjoys hiking, following true crime, playing with her dog, and learning about new things.
